
The Tractors were an indie rock band from St Helens, Merseyside, consisting of:
- Andrew Cave (Vocals)
- Ian O'Connor (Guitar)
- Jeffery Fitzhenry (Bass)
- Peter Ludden (Drums)
- David Evans (Guitar)
The band only released one single EP called Juggernaut in the 80's.

Peel was fond of the band's, 'Pat Nevin Eyes' tune, named after one of his favourite football players, Pat Nevin, that he got the band to do a session for his show, despite releasing only one single. The band were signed to Probe Plus records, the same label, which Half Man Half Biscuit belonged to.
