Two Young Girls From Burundi was a title given to two African unknown young girls singing a cappella with each other, that was recorded in 1967 by French sound recordist, Michel Vuylsteke, in Kayanza, Burundi. The song title in full was called Akazéhé Par Deux Jeunes Filles, and was first released in 1968 via the compilation album, 'Musique Du Burundi'. The song was later re-released on various compilation albums through out the years.

Peel mentioned on his 11 January 1986 (BFBS) show that Alexis Korner played the tune on his radio shows, although he admitted he never heard it play on his programme. After the song was played on the show, he thought it was good.
