Vinyl was the name of a Dutch music magazine, issued between February 1981 and January 1988. The publication began as a "new Dutch magazine that focuses on contemporary and experimental music", although later changed to become a more lifestyle magazine featuring current music, fashion, art, literature and film. At the end of 1987 the magazine was acquired by publisher of the main competitor magazine OOR, and closed shortly after.
Issue 1 (February 1981) to 26 (June 1983) included a flexi disc on its own label 'Vinyl'. Each 7" disc usually featured two tracks from different artists and played at 33 ⅓ rpm.
